Benefits
This Policy covers bodily injury caused by violent, accidental external and visible means subject to the limits specified in the Policy. The cover is recommended for individuals and groups and can be issued on fixed benefits or based on salary. This is a 24 hour worldwide cover.
The benefits under the policy are compensation for:
- Accidental Death
- Permanent Total Disablement (PTD).
- Temporary loss of incomes due to disablement (TTD).
- Medical expenses arising from an accident

UTULIVU SCOPE OF COVER
Utulivu Personal Accident cover will pay the Insured Person or Insured’s legal personal representatives or trustees (hereinafter called Insured’s trustees) the appropriate benefit as per the option chosen, in the event that during the period that the Policy is in force, the Insured Person suffers sudden, unforeseen, accidental, forceful, visible and violent bodily injury, which shall independently of any other cause, result in the death, disablement or incurring of medical expenses for which the benefit is claimed as per the option chosen.
Once payment is made to the Insured Person or to the trustee or beneficiary, the policy lapses automatically.
Utulivu is a Personal Accident Cover. If the insured dies following an illness or disease, the benefits are not payable.
